The controls in Russian Car Drift are practically identical to any other game in this genre: accelerate and brake by tapping the pedals on the right side of the screen while using the arrows on the left to steer. As this is a game focused on drifting, practically any curve you take will activate the spin counter, which keeps going as long as your car is drifting. If you manage to drift for a considerable amount of time, the multiplier will also increase, which is how you can get some truly amazing scores.

Each victory in Russian Car Drift rewards you with coins, which you can invest in unlocking new and better vehicles with which you can improve both your race times and your maximum drifting score.
